SHOWCASE 2010

I was very pleased with the Show! Many thanks to all those who took part, whether as dancers, helpers or as the audience.

I would like to give special thanks to all parents who helped backstage with make-up and costume changes.

ENGLISH NATIONAL YOUTH BALLET

Congratulations to Yasmin Ali, Alice Barker, Mia Kruger, Shannon Spurdens and  Katie Walsh who took part in the English National Youth Ballet production of  Sleeping Beauty. It was wonderful to hear that all of you gained places and were successful in your performance.

I hope everyone who took part, helped or watched had a great time!

NEWS
Examinations
 I have received examination results for the Autumn Term 2010 session. They are fantastic!!
 All pupils achieved 70% or above!
 Out of 19 pupils, 11 gained distinctions and 8 got very high merits.

 Barnaby Rook-Bishop, a former pupil of the Oakley School of Dancing who gained a place at the Royal Ballet School, reached this year’s final of Young British Dancer of the Year!!!
